October 2023: Mars in Scorpio, Solar and Lunar Eclipses etc.

October 2023 promises to become one of the most turbulent months of the year.

Even though unstable due to natural factors, the very first days have the potential for cooperation and successful dealings with mundane tasks. The informational field is somewhat chaotic and one should mind the possibility of distortions and deceit. As thoughts clear up by the end of the week the tension starts growing. What was planned by some as a lucrative trickery turns out to be wishful thinking. Hidden agendas come to the surface and fair consequences are due. Underlying tensions reveal themselves, creating the perfect background for conflict.

Throughout the second week, emotional outpour or emotional shutdown seem the most appealing strategies. Even though, neither is great, it is currently more beneficial to lean towards the latter and practice resilience rather than reactivity.

By the time of the Solar Eclipse on the 14th of October (more about it in a separate post) the atmosphere is decidedly tense and adverse. Power struggles on all levels can, on a bigger scale, result in open confrontation, social unrest or protest moods, whilst, on a minor scale, in discord in one’s personal life.

It is best to channel this powerful charge into productive activity once the Eclipse’s shadow fades. It will be easier to find inspiration from past experiences and traditional approaches. The month, especially its second half, is rather challenging for various leaders. From disagreements with subordinates at work to heightened tensions on the international stage.

The last week of the month, with the Lunar Eclipse on the 28th, highlights the risen ambitions as well as the disbalance between assertive, feisty and destructive aspirations and a craving for emotional comfort and financial gain.

The key to October is detachment from the collective processes and focus on personal practical matters. Avoiding risky behaviour and practising temperance will help to minimise the possible hazards.
